Hi;
I will be installing a run of coax cable for an amateur radio antenna system through a length of 1" PVC conduit to be run partially underground.
The conduit will terminate on both ends above ground, but at least one end will be outdoors. So how do I keep dirt and water from entering the conduit? Do I just create a 'service loop' type bend so that the opening points down, or is there some sort of water-tight fitting I need.
I don't know what the code says about such installations, but since I will not be installing any electrical conductors (except for a ground conductor that will run between grounding electrodes), that is not terribly important to me. However, if I can find specific code for this install, I will follow it.
Thanks for your advice
