Last time I called Julie (pre-811) they located electric and phone.
They did not locate, nor attempt to locate, the power from house to a barn.

I had to call propane people to locate the line from tank to house.

When you called 811(Julie), were you instructed to call other utilities for making? These making services are in place to protect the utility, but most importantly to protect the public. If they are not doing the job, they need to be called out on it.

The 811 guy said if it was natural gas he'd locate but would not locate propane line.
Don't recall reason. Was a long time ago.
I called the propane place after he left. They came out the next day.

If it matters, I always have them locate the entire run even if I only need a certain area to dig.
