I have a Greenworks mower and weed wacker that both use 80v 2Ah batteries, and they're starting to fade after 3 or 4 years.
I have some Ryobi tools that are 18v, and came with an original 1.3Ah battery, and I got some 3Ah batteries aftermarket for longer run time.
Same charger worked, and they were just longer in size for more energy storage capacity.
So back to the Greenworks...
They have an 80v 4Ah battery option, and the main difference seems to be that it's longer, which is okay in both the mower and the weed eater.
Am I thinking right that it will be fine with the existing charger, will provide longer run time, and if the extended length is okay, which it is, all is good to use them?
They do have a catch mechanism to lock the battery into place. I'm assuming that's in the same place on both.
