I've searched Amazon a bit and found a couple options but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas regarding generic brand/cheap storage bags/cases for power tools.
I've got a ryobi cordless reciprocating saw and a makita angle grinder that are sitting in their original cardboard boxes.
Thanks

I have some of the "bags" but prefer hard shell cases. Just like gun cases. Much better protection than a bag.

I hit several pawn shops every month and watch local sales sites for hard shell cases at a bargain. MAKITA B-62072 Plastic case 150 x 102mm x 44 mm | eBay

If you want sturdy look at Carhart.
Not the most inexpensive bag but very good quality.

I usually pick up a soft tool bag when they are on promo at HD or Lowes. Figure out what it's for when I get it home. If you have a power tool service center nearby, they usually have used hard cases for cheap. Use your oscillating multi tool to cut out the ribs and dividers to customize for your needs. Mark the outside with a white paint pen.
