Planning to add a short section of gutter where we don't have one currently. I haven't hung gutters since I was a kid. Watched a video that said to screw the hangers in the rafter ends, which are easy to locate when the fascia boards are just painted. But how can I know where the rafter ends are when the fascia is covered by aluminum flashing? Or what is the solution or best practice in this case?
