I have a fiber line running to my house and thence to an ATT BGW 320 modem/router. The modem is currently in the corner of the house. I want to move it to a central location, i.e, the laundry room, where there are wall boxes that distribute ethernet and coax cables throughout the house.
Next to the box where the fiber comes into the room (pic), there is an ethernet port that runs up to the laundry room. I would like to use that port to carry the signal, however, the wire that comes out of the box does not look very ethernet compatible.
Wondering what I can do to get my signal re-routed up to the laundry room.
