Im soon going to be installing a rear outlet, floor mount toilet in my new bathroom. I have all of the walls up except for the ones where the toilet plumbing is going to go. Is there a way to estimate how tall I need to make the flange for the rear outlet? I have the subfloor down but am going to be installing Ditra and then porcelain tile. Id imagine that the flange needs to be the perfect height so that it seals correctly. I also think I should have the walls up, mudded and painted before I put a toilet in the way but Im not sure how to make the measurements right. Does anyone have any experience installing rear outlet toilets before the room is done? Thanks so much! :thumbup:
