The ceiling is lath and plaster 1900. The plaster is not sagging, but I have constant paint problems. I would like to overboard it with 1/2 ultralight drywall to fix the problem for good.
Here is a picture of a joist/stapping used in the ceiling (the picture is not my ceiling, but the joist/strapping/lath is the same); What is the best way to overboard this type of ceiling construction.
