I was going to replace the door kobs on all of my interior doors. However, the old door knobs do not have a face plate. The old latch simply inserts into a hole that is flush with the the door and has a metal ring around it to cover the rest of the hole. There is not much wood left around this hole, so I a reluctant to try to chisel it out. Has anyone ever seen door knob replacements for this configuration? I can email a picture if that would help.
