I am making progress on my deck, finally installing the deck boards!!
Is there a way to reduce the amount of mushrooming on the composite - choicedek boards?
I put down 5 boards, pre drilled 1/2 and simply screwed 1/2 and all have mushroom effect to them. Any suggestions??? I have "tapped" as the choicedek installation says on the refuse, but you can see it all over the deck.
Also- over time, will the "tapped down" refuse fade away....I bought the screws that match the deck, so I am not worried if they show down the road.
