Diverter inside the bathtub spout was not working properly so I checked youtube and replacement looked easy. Cannot tell exactly but It looks like there is copper pipe about 3 inches coming from the wall and the spout is screwed to it. I scraped the silicon around and used everything I could to unscrew the spout counter clockwise but it does not move. Tried heavy duty pliers, back of a hammer, sprayed WD40 inside. Even tried to warm the spout with a hair drier. Nothing works. The spout does not move and I am afraid to brake the copper pipe it attached to. Any ideas?
