Just redoing a bathroom and knocked down a wall that was being replaced with glass shower surround.

Found the two pipes as in the picture.

There is attic space above and then they go up to a roof vent pipe.

Easiest would be to go out the wall which is the wall on the left of the picture.

Otherwise having to run the pipes hopefully in between the joists and then up to the attic but wondering what easiest is.

We are in Louisville, Colorado so not sure where to check if code is different but if anyone knows Boulder or Denver's codes or just a general answer that would be helpful!!

P3103.1.4 Sidewall Vent Terminal

Vent terminals extending through the wall shall terminate not less than 10 feet (3048 mm) from a lot line and not less than 10 feet (3048 mm) above the highest grade elevation within 10 feet (3048 mm) in any direction horizontally of the vent terminal. Vent pipes shall not terminate under the overhang of a structure where the overhang includes soffit vents. Such vent terminals shall be protected by a method that prevents birds and rodents from entering or blocking the vent pipe opening and that does not reduce the open area of the vent pipe.

Since January 1, 2002, our state code allows sidewall vent exiting in specific cases. Previous to that date, it was prohibited since 1984. You should read your specific code.
