I have a Trane air handler with a/c and a heat pump. The original 220 volt blower motor went bad. I purchased a Packard replacement motor, same specs as the old. I have the two brown capacitor wires connected. There are three speed control wires (black, blue, red). I connected the blue medium speed wire to the Red wire of the air handler originally plugged into the B (medium) plug on the side of the original motor.
My question is, where does the remaining white wire from the motor connect to?
The fan runs without the white wire connected, but it runs slow. Also, there is a Black wire in the air handler that was plugged into one side of the capacitor.
