I think the best one I bought was boar bristle or something. What I usually do though, is buy a cheap soft bristled regular brush and toss it after one or two uses. The poly is gonna level out anyway, so its not like you even need an expensive brush. As long as it doesnt shed...

I thought most natural bristle brushes were hog hair ??
Most will shed a few bristles when new but if you run your fingers thru the bristles it will remove most of the loose ones.

Its been along time. I dont remember.
