Hi All
My House sits on the steepest (and only) hill in Tennessee, so I have an incredible slope to deal with.
Currently, there is a negative slope going into the house (mainly under the deck). This has led to a bit of pooling around the foundation, which has led to a slight leak in the garage.
No foundation issue yet (per the home inspector) but I need to get the water run off away from the house. Any suggestions? I was considering installing a french drain along the back of the house, and have it kick the runoff down towards my neighbor's house (I know what youre thinking, but there is a rain cement channel between our homes that will catch the water). The other option was to just add a bunch of top soil and try to level out the yard, and see how that works.
Thanks !
