Hello,
I'm reaching out cause air and a foul smell coming from the basement drain at my house.
I have multiple pipes visible within the drain itself i took some photos and a video shared on my drive:

looks like a complex drainage system and air is coming from some of the pipes im thinking maybe some of the pipe traps are dry and needs to be filled with water but im not a professional so im reaching out to see what can be done to help with this situation please and thank you.

Yes, that would be the first step, ensure water is present in all traps. You have sewer gas leakage coming from somewhere.

If you also have draining problems/issues, you may have a partial blockage further down line, that may need snaking/scoping.

Can't really tell from pic, but looks like you have old terra-cotta (orange pipe) and/or cast iron/mixture of piping.
