Replacing rotted and damaged fascia boards on a 50 year old house. No soffit, rafter tails and 2 x 7 Fascia Boards. After repairing fascia, seamless gutters are going to be installed. To ensure fascia boards dont twist or loosen and press against the gutters, should they be screwed or nailed?
Considering 3 inch x .120 Galv Ring Shank nails and nailing the new fascia "and" the older boards to put tight against the rafters again.
