Hello DIY'ers...new member here...first post.
I decided to become a member after reading a thread online about the Wet & Forget outdoor cleaners...in particular a very good thread from member "stevepem" posted on 8/21/2024, titled Wet & Forget dilution math.
I was in Lowe's today, looking for the Scotts Outdoor Cleaner Patio & Deck with Zeroscrub Technology Concentate cleaner I saw online, that had a similar active ingredient compound as the Wet & Forget. Well, I found out Lowe's doesn't carry the Scotts product anymore, but I happened to notice a new 30 Seconds product...30 Seconds Spray & Walk Away Concentrate at $29.98 for a 1 gal. container...and it has the exact same active ingredient (ADBAC) as W&F...even at the same 9.9% rate. I would have assumed that W&F had a exclusive patent on that formula...but apparently not. I also see that 30 Seconds has a hose end sprayer for the same product...but with the same 9.9% active ingredient rate...so it doesn't go nearly as far...it only covers 300 to 880 sq. ft., for $24.98, for a 64oz. container.
So, I was wondering if anyone has used this 30 seconds product which seems to copy the Wet & Forget product...and were the results the same or similar to the W&F results? The concentrate is a few dollars less than the W&F concentrate...but the hose end sprayer doesn't look like a good value with it's low active ingredient %, and low coverage area rate.
