i see there's a deal right now for 6 tools, 2 batteries + 1 charger. all for $150!
im on Milwaukee right now. 2 of my M18 drills are dead in the past 8 years. just bought another $150 Fuel drill 1 year ago and fingers crossed it wont fail on me. the previous 2 had their chucks failed (wont expand or contract to hold the bits in place).
im no pro by any means. maybe use the drills twice a month for small projects.

I have not, nor would I consider the purchase from Walmart compared w/Milwaukee.
JMHO.

Did you keep your receipt of the Milwaukee drill?
Milwaukee warranty link. Service center link on same page.

I had to take my Mil chain saw in for service. 5 year warranty on it. Provided my receipt. Recently got it back. Runs like new. Jury still out on how long the fix lasts.

In my area, Farm & Fleet usually has a sale on drills and such. Some as a kit w/a new batt.
IIRC...usually around $99.00

Your $'s...your choice...Don.

I do not buy tools I make my living with at the grocery store. I am fully aware there are Wally world stores that do everything for everyone in a remote area. I grew up near one. It had everything you needed for shotgun reloading, that was a couple of decades ago.

I have never heard of Hart tools. I am on 20v Dewalt since my 18v Dewalt stuff got stolen.

It may be that battery powered tools won't serve you well. Milwaukee batteries hold a viable charge for a very long time, but in your instance a corded tool may be best.

I am on the Makita platform for drill/drivers, and have two drills, 4 drivers and 9 batteries and 3 chargers, but I used them constantly every day in my business. I have one Milwaukee M18 at the house that I procured from someone who owed me money. I charged it when I brought it home and after a year, the charge is still 4 bars. I am not aware, nor have I tested the Hart tools at Wal Mart.

Assigning 3 "units" to each tool and 1 "unit" each to batteries and charger, I come up with an average tool cost of around $21.50. With today's prices, I consider them throw-aways.

Nearly every gold mine comes with a shaft!

To answer your question first, no. I have not bought or tried Hart tools.
But, Hart is owned/built by TTI, the same group that owns Milwaukee, Rigid, and Ryobi. So, they certainly know how to make tools. They also know how to make tools cheaper.

As I said up front, I have no experience with Hart tools. I'd imagine that for occasional use, they'd be OK. I'd also guess that at least one or two of the six tools would be disappointing.

Is it all that much cheaper than buying Ryobi on sale?

I've seen Hart reviews showing they're garbage to other reviews showing they're decent. So I don't know what to think on Hart. I do know Ryobi (and similar) and even HF"s Hercules and (newer versions) Bauer are solid DIYer tools that even some pros use.
