Decent way to finish ends of composite boards

Working on planning deck steps and would like to use composite treads but am going for an open look and so having a hard time figuring out how to finish the ends of the treads to look nice without using a fascia. (End caps seem to be hard to come by in Canada for whatever, along with the boards that use them).

Anywho, came across this bench earlier today that just bevelled/rounded the edges a bit, it looks more finished than a straight cut so am wondering how I can achieve this?

Anyways ideas? I assumed it was factory done but it's not perfectly even everywhere so was maybe done onsite.

Thanks

To get that exact look you would have to source a composite material that is consistent all the way through. Most quality stuff today is 'capped composite' which has a vinyl wrap over a core. It looks okay painted and most suppliers sell end cut paint in colours that match their products.

Not seeing cut ends is why you see most composite decks using picture framing. The technique has always been around but became really popular out of necessity with composite decks.
