This might not be the forum to ask this question, but im building a new house here in Wisconsin. Nothing fancy, 1200 square foot 2 story. I tried searching here for Allure Traffic master vinyl flooring, but most threads were remodel questions. My question is I have 3/4 plywood for the subfloor, glued to the I joists, do i just lay the flooring over top of that? or do i have to add more wood to make it thicker? someone said maybe lay some special paper, or even tar paper down. Just thought id find out if any of you guys have used this in new construction before. thanks!

You just look at the manufacturers instructions and follow them. Laminate floors require a foam padding under them. If this is a floating floor, it just lays on top of the floor you have. High moisture areas require a vapor barrier.
All this info will be on the Allure website.
