My Kitchen Aid washer, Model KAWS700LQ0, will go thru every cycle with no problem, but when it gets to the spin cycle, will not spin. I changed the lid switch, and now it will spin, but only when its empty. Any ideas?

Following are a couple of excerpts from my normal source for appliance parts, pertaining to your machine...
"Part # 1195967 drive motor coupler. New style with metal sleeves for added strength. This version replaces all previous motor coupler styles and versions. For direct drive washing machines."
"Common symptom of failed coupler is washer will fill, not agitate or spin but will drain the water from the tub."
Not sure if that helps, but sounds like it is worth checking out.
if it agitates ok and does spin then the coupling is not the problem. Definitely a clutch problem
