Vinal Roofing?

Did anybody see the episode of Holmes on Homes where he relaced the roof on a condo with something that went together in sections similar to vinal siding. They screwed in a bottom rail and snapped in a section containing 3 or 4 shingles in a row.

What is it called and how does the cost compare to asphalt.

I received a price on Tamko Metal works shingles a few weeks ago and they were running up in the $220 a square.I did put on a Roof like your talking about a few years or so ago and i remember it was in the $200 dollar a square range.You looking at a big difference in price.

They have a section on Stone coated steel shingles.Hope this helps.
