So I made the BIGGEST mistake by disconnecting my wires in my switch box because I wanted to replace my switches with nice silver ones. I am completely confused on how to put it back together, I thought I understood when I was doing it because I did the other 2-gang switch boxes, but now it doesn't make sense... it looks COMPLETELY different! PLEASE Help!!!
Okay so the switch box has two 3-way switches. (these connect to our outside lights and kitchen lights). (There are also a ton of other three and four way switches in the house)
there are 5 sets of cables coming into the switch box:
2 sets from the top right
1) 2-wire (Black/White). No Power
2) 2-wire (Black/White). BOTH have Power!
1 set from the top left
3) 2-wire (Gray/White). No Power. But the gray wire looks like it was wrapped around a screw on the switch and connected to somewhere else because there is exposed wire in the middle and then exposed wire at the end. (it looks just like the power wire that connects my other 3-way switches together)
2 sets from the bottom
4) 2-wire (Black/White) Black has power
5) 3-wire (Black/White/Red) No Power.
PLEASE HELP ME!!
