I am thinking about replacing my water heater(died) with a tankless water heater and have a quick question about piping size. My house is piped with 3/4 inch PVC piping and the sales men at my local hardware store said the tankless water heaters they sell are 1/2 inch input and output. My question is will there be any problem converting down to 1/2 inch to go into the water heater and then back to 1/2 coming out of it as far as water pressure or anything like that? Any input would be great. Thank you.
