Is there such thing as a clear PEX tube?

It's a 1/2" pipe that looks translucent, much like 1/4" and 3/8" polyethylene(non-cross linked). Where I've seen it, it was fitted using Sharkbite fittings.

I couldn't find much info on polyethylene tubes. I found some info on larger ones, but they're opaque like black ABS pipes.

Clear PEX tubing--not sure. Clear semi-ridgid tubing which has the characteristics of PEX, uses S.S. fittings and crimp rings--YES. Used at my previous employer site for sulfuric acid transfer. Used now at my current work site to transfer various chemicals. Did I mention expensive?

If I'm not mistaken, all PEX comes in either blue or red color.

HEpex is available in translucent clear. It's made for radiant heating applications.

Potable water PEX comes in white, blue and red.

Do you think 3/4 inch PEX would work for arches across a sidewalk. I currently use pvc with a coupler but the couplers keep snapping and I am about down. I was wondering is a 20ft piece of PEX is my answer.

Is there such thing as a clear PEX tube?
