installing gfi on outside of foundation

i want to install a weater tight gfi outlet box on the outside of my foundation
i am installing a new 20amp single pole gfci breaker inside running the wire about 30 feet from breaker box drilling hole through my foundation to run wire through it right into outside outlet box what type of wire shoud i use?Thanks

12/2 romex.
You do not have to have a gfci receptacle if you are using a breaker.
Make sure you use a tamper resistant, weather proof receptacle with an in-use cover.
I always sleeve my wire with PVC when going through the foundation, but it is not required.

It is code depending on what code cycle.

I would use a GFCI receptacle instead of a GFCI breaker, a lot cheaper.

Easier too incase something accidently trips the GFCI. Instead of running inside to reset, just walk over to the outlet instead.
