When I bought my composite (TREX) 12 or so years ago, I found a local company named DISCOUNT DOORS, that carried the material, at a lower price that the HD, and I could order any color they offered not what ever HD decided that they wanted to sell.

So look in your local YELLOW PAGES, for a distributor , or check the manufacturers web site, for local outlets.

That bamboo that you linked to is interesting, How is their prices

I saw this at Home Depot, for $20 the 12' plank:

And also this tool:

My current deck has 3'4" length planks.....So I have to buy 16' planks and waste ~3' each, or go with the 12' and butt joining them....!!!

I'm also looking for vinyl privacy panels, in 4' tall. I've seen some at HD, but they are 68' long. Including the size of the posts (4") I will have at the end a gap of ~10" between the 2 last posts. Any idea how I could do?

Hello
I have a deck that is in very bad shape
I was thinking about redoing it using composite
The frame is still OK, so I would just replace the planks
Where can I find composite planks at a cheaper price than what HD or Lowes, but still decent quality?
Who knows this website?

Thanks
Go to a real lumber store! One that caters to contractors they have options. and can haggle on the price.
