I am adding an additional central ac unit. Can I connect the primary condensate drain line to an existing primary condensate drain line? I don't have access to any other drain connection.

if you have the emergency pans and seperate on the pipes or not any water dripping out B-LINE it you to them thats cool so you could pipe the new unit to the line after the exsisting units trap run out.suggestion on the 2 seperate emergency pans paint the tips of them so everybody knows if wter is dripping call pops....simple seasonal maint.will keep the emergency dry and even flush some water down the pan and trap so the bugs don't cause problems...on the main pans within the air handlers cycling on water reaching in wipe the pans crap and your good to go....

i have two a/c systems and both lines join together. the secondary drain lines also join together and are piped to the front porch area. since all systems are supposed to have secondary pans and lines, you technically do have multiple drains and piping both systems together on primary and secondary should be fine.
