Look at the packaging. What does it state?

 

package is gone. so is most of the wire

 

Pretty much any newer NM connector can take two, sometimes even three cables. The package or web site will tell you the combinations of cables it will accept.

 

If you are talking about 12/2 or 14/2 cables the answer is basically yes.

 

yeah, 14/2 & 14/3. i know they will fit. but i thought it wasn't acceptable practice. thats why i asked.

are there any issues with doing it like this ? like harder to work with the wires, or something ...
