Hello ,

So I have a Pellet Boiler that is piped into my oil boiler that circulates the water. As of right now it is not cold outside but cool enough to keep the heat on. My question is this. DOes anyone see an issue if I leave the 2 zone valves cracked open a little so I dont have the cold water from the 2 zones rushing back to the boilers. The Pellet boiler is cooking all the time which isnt a problem but I wasnt sure if there were any other issues that I should be concerned with....

The only issue I see is overheating the house possibly. With the zone valves open they will be allowing heat to move from the boilers to the system and into the house.

The lines that run to the Attic Air Handler run through a chase in the wall and then into the attic.. so I dont think that will be too much of an issue.
