I have a sliding screen door that has one wheel that doesn't have any spring left to it. I've been wondering if it would be worth my time to repair it. The hardware stores probably don't have wheel that matches the one on the sliding screen door. Maybe spend a week searching for the part.
On the other hand, replacing the screen would be minimum $150+. What would you guys do?

Thanks

If you can find replacement wheels and springs--sure, fix the old door.

I have found the replacement doors from the big box stores are very poor quality--

If the hardware store does not have it any I've dealt with have a book that you can look through and order one.
Always best to replace both of them at the same time.
