Bought an air compressor from Harbor Freight, good price, not sure about quality. are the air tools from HF worth it for a diyer?

For qccasional use most of the harbor freight tools are OK - SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS - you may be returning them for an exchange. Do not buy drill bits there, they are terrible. You may also be able to buy lightly used quality tools from Craigslist if you watch regularly.

Key word is OCCASIONAL use, or spend the few extra bucks on the extended warranty. The tools at China Freight are worth what you pay for them. I've got a couple of things from there. Pretty much a "specialty" item or two I needed for one job or something cheap enough to consider "disposable" and just go get another....
