People,

Have a HF air compressor, after just 6 months it is spitting comp oil from the hose. Not sure what happened- last one lasted 15 years. Anyway, anyone here ever rebuilt one? Think it is just new rings?

Wow- I had no idea! Warranty expired last August. maybe I will call them ads ask for that kit. Thanks, Mark!

If the parts are cheap or free, give it a try. I have an Eaton 3 cylinder compressor and I recently replaced its 18 year old pump. It had a lot of hours, so I replaced it. Yours is almost new so it shouldn’t have much wear.

My old HF developed some kind of electrical short where it would randomly jolt me. Didn't wanna bother trying to repair, so I just Craigslisted it (with full disclosure).
