I have engineered wood floor installed over slab floor about 4 years ago. recently i found some areas where the wood became darker and swollen. when i opened one area, i found white little worms, don't know what are they, and how to resolve the problem, a wood floor installer concluded the is no leak under the concrete, and these are not termites.
can you help?

Most worms are not white; may not be termites but google termite and select images. You'll quickly see if they are or not. Also, could take some to a pest control place who likely can tell you quickly.

Sounds like termites to me. You definetly have a water problem.
