A 2x10 isn't gonna crush over time. The sole plates on your walls are holding up your whole house; I don't think they got crushed.
Wood shim between joist and subfloor plywood
Ive googled and didnt come up with much. I have a 4ft piece of wood cut from a 2x10, that fits well to correct a section of a joist to shim it level. Its 1/4 thick on one end and tapers to about 1/16th on the other end. If I glued and pre drilled holes for screws, would this hold up in a bathroom?
