The wood wrap on the columns on our front porch is rotting at the bottom. Do we have to replace the entire column, or can we simply replace the wood wrap??

sure you can! gma2rjc just wrapped hers in cedar!
(maybe she'll post a pic when she gets the trim done?)
there was PT 4x4 under the wrap. check it to see what you have.

Round columns

Thanks, I'll check it out. But we have round columns that seem to have some type of hollow, plastic/polymer insert wrapped in about 1/2 inch wood veneer.
