I have posted my need on the Seattle Craigs list..

Are you telling me that a (new) member cant express his need for tooling
as well as his need for DIY advice.

I have not read any of the fine print on what I can and cant post
at this forum. Please advise !!!!

Someone should be contacting you shortly.
Also not a great idea to post your email address. Leaves you wide open for spamers that seem to like to pester this site.

I live in Auburn,WA and need to either buy or rent a used 3/4" WIRSBO Aqua-Pex expansion Tool.

Please contact /QUOTE]

I had to get an expansion tool for 1.5" & 2" pex. I rented it from my supply house.
Have you checked with them?
You may have to buy the tool- then sell it to recoup some money. Or switch to crimp rings

Gary, Are you telling me that I can not ask another member to loan me a tool ??

I have already had a phone call from a member (another state) offering to loan me the tool.

I am continuing to monitor EBAY and CRAIGS LIST.

Paintdrying.....The EBAY item you linked has 1/2" and 5/8" Tooling only which is probably holding the price down ??

I need 3/4" expander and dont want to buy a new 3/4" head. Want to buy kit all inclusive.

Thanks and best wishes with your woman, whomever she is.

Yes, use means other than this forum to find/rent/borrow a tool. Found under "Advertising rules" at the bottom right-hand corner of every page in "Privacy Statement" or "Terms of Service";

"Participants may not solicit users for any project or purpose external to the forum; public, private, or commercial. Most importantly our member base is not a resource to be "mined" by individuals, groups, or businesses, for profit or not for profit."

We can direct you on how to do the work safely, though. I hope you find what you need...

Gary
PS. There is also a "Private Message" option you can use for members.
