I have one incandescent bulb operated from a wall switch in my 2-car garage and want to replace it with fluorescent lighting. I would like to replace the incandescent light fixture with a junction box and operate 9-each 48" 2-tube fluorescent fixtures from the wall switch. The total amperage should be in the neighborhood of 5 amps (120 volts, 62 watts/fixture). Can I do this? How would I bring all the wiring to the junction box and control it from the wall switch?

I hope your not suggesting to run a sepperat wire to each light from one box.
The lights can be dasiy chained just like when wiring outlets so there not a ton of wires all connected together in the box.

I have a little diagram I made when planning this project but don't know how to attach it to this reply. It's just a drawing in Microsoft Word for Mac. I sent this question to Nathan and hopefully he'll get back to me shortly so I can attach it and send it to you. Thanks for helping!
