Hey guys I'm new to the site but this is the project I'm wanting help with.

My daughter has a Razor brand 4-wheeler I'm wanting to install an extra 12volt battery to the back and put in 12volt 55 watt lights on the front. What I'm wanting to know is, what kind of switch do I need to use and do I need to put in a relay or a fuse in and if so do I wire it before or after the switch?

Thanks for any help you could throw my way, It was make my little girl a lot happier.

I’m assuming 2 lights at 55 watts each? Just get a single pole single throw (spst) switch rated for at least 10 amps DC and some 18 gauge wire. Place a fuse holder and 15 amp fuse close to the battery.
