Hi to all
I am trying get my air conditioner hooked up on existing Carrier forced air gas furnace. Heat works fine now, after help from the forum troubleshooting that problem. In that process I removed the air conditioner wires from the compressor to the furnace and can't remember where the two wires go on the furnace, as well as the connection at the thermostat. (did this in Nov 08 when air wasn't needed and didn't get back to it till now.) Heat works fine. Thank you.

Y and C on the board should work to the outside unit. RWYG on the tstat to RWYG on the board. RWYG red, white, yellow, green. But beware I have seen splices between the furnace and tstat and the colors can change. Only way to know fer sure is to join wires and trace them with an ohmeter or hire a pro.

Hi, Seemed to have the wiring correct but the tech said that the transformer was bad. No reading on the primary coil, and no 24v. Getting part tomorrow.

Any thought on transformer failing?

Thanks
