Wiring ? for led light fixture

I’m replacing a number of globe style ceiling lights with led fixtures. Quick question regarding matching the wiring.

The led comes with two wires connected: 1 labelled N and 1 labelled L. I understand that the N connects to the white wire coming from the ceiling and the L connects to the black wire from the ceiling. Please let me know if I’m incorrect.

I’m unsure what to do with the ground wire. There isn’t one connected to the led, however, an extra wire did come with the kit. If I was to connect it to the ceiling ground wire, any suggestions where to connect it on the led light fixture, which is primarily plastic?

I’ve attached photos of the light fixture and the existing ceiling wiring below. Thanks in advance.

If the fixture is plastic then there is no need for the ground wire. Coil it up and leave in the junction box.
The L connection is often black but not always. Sometimes it is red.
