Hello,

I have a 220V Sauna in basement. Wiring in place from PWR panel to sauna.

1)Is wire running into/inside the walls of sauna to control box,to heater, and lights required to be in Liquid Tight Flexible Non-Matallic Conduit or like housing, or can it retain sheathing?
2)Is a GFI breaker required? Instructions with heater/control say "NO".

Any advice/lessons learned would be appreciated.

Thanks

No, liquidtite is not required. Not sure why you think it would be inside the walls.

Then no GFI is required.
