I am adding a car lift (220 30A), Sharp 1440 lathe (3HP 3 Phase, not sure power draw), and Haas Mini Mill (7.5HP Single Phase/40A or 3 Phase/25A). I have a 50A 220 single phase breaker in my main panel that goes to two 50A outlets for a welder. I would like to use this same line to power the equipment. Note the equipment won't be running at the same time in order to keep it under 50A so I don't trip the main panel breaker.

For the lathe I plan on adding a rotary phase converter and once I get the mill I will see if I want to run that off of 3 phase or if it actually is set up for single phase.

For this equipment do I need to add a sub panel with breakers for the current draw for each piece of equipment or can I add a junction box and hard wire the equipment in?

Sounds good so get a 6 slot 100A sub panel (seems to be the lowest current box), run the current 50A line from a junction box to the panel, then have the 3 sets of breakers for the power required. Would you recommend receptacles or hard wire? For hard wiring do you just run it to a junction box with the armored/flexible steel conduit?
