I'm working up the electrical plans for a finished, small attic storage room and was wondering if the circuit in the diagram seems logical and will pass code (Dallas, Tx).

Additional info:

The two switches are in different gang boxes.

All wiring is 12-2.

As an fyi, I am "taking a stab" before having the electrician do the work.

Thanks in advance

Just an FYI most electricians will just start over and not even use your materials if you fail and decide to hire them. Best thing would get yourself a decent book on home wiring and check what local codes will allow you to do and require that you do.

Looks like a decent plan.
