cut the paint line with a sharp utility knife,then start in the middle using a thin pry bar or 5 in 1 tool,pull the middle down far enough to disengage the mitered ends....if it breaks buy and install a new piece:thumbup:

I use a very thin putty knife to start. Avoids any damage to the existing trim. Then move on to my mini pry.
