Consider using a system like Screen Tight instead of the lattice strips for several reasons.
Main reason being it will be far less of a pain to replace the screening later on.

That I know of there is no ACQ approved finish nails that can be shot with a gun, I see people doing it all the time and I tell them read the box, all they saw was there galvinized, it will say right on the box not for outside use.
The newer copper treated wood will rust out the nails in no time.
If your still going to use the strips anyway you'll need to predrill pilot holes in the lattice or there just going to split.
You'll need Stainless Steel or ACQ approved screws, round or pan head screws would look the best.
Also consider splitting up that 6' distance with a 2 X 4 so the screen will last far longer and will be less likely to pull out under the strips on the edges.
