Hello All,

Hope you are all well.

I plan to put a little hose bib on the wall to fill my Berkey water filter. I thought I'd run the 1/2" pex from the cold water pipe feeding the water heater and up against the wall and around a corner and under a shelf. The pex will be attached to the finished side of the drywall. I have not yet had my final plumbing inspection and my question: Will my little pot filler be code compliant?

P.S.
I also have yet to install the PRV down pipe.

It will need some sort of cross connection control. Such as a vacuum breaker. The pex. if that was your question, should be fine.

Your water heater T&P line also needs to be installed per your local code standards. But you prolly knew that....
