Will "bombs" always kill fleas?

2514 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  cleveman
Geez, put in 2 cans of flea/insect (permethrin type) bombs, in a small cottage (3 rooms), and still fleas were there. Now, next day, after people complained, I put in 2 MORE bombs. Anybody ever have this persistent fleas issue ?

Thanks!

I like to use alpine flea. The IGR (insect growth regulator) in it provides protection against re-infestion for quite a few months.

Fleas will stay in their pupa form for around 8 days, but can stay in there longer if not disturbed. you want the problem over and done with, so i recommend making sure to vacuum everything once a day for a week after applying the flea treatment.
