Hi,

I have a 30" Whirlpool Range/Oven Model WFG510S0AB2. The Stove Burners and Broiler works fine.
The Oven Bake works for about 45 minutes without any issues, then the flame goes out and does not start again. The control panel still shows the Temperature set and no error codes are displayed, but the oven is off.
If I try to restart again, it may come on for about a few minutes and then go out again.
After letting it cool off for few hours it will work fine again for about 45 minutes.

Any ideas what would cause this issue?

Is the heat sensor inside going bad?

Telling the controller that there is an overheated oven, and shutting itself off to prevent major damage.

What is the best way to check? Stick an ohm meter in the connector and see if it's around 1100 ohms?

I checked the thermostat leads and it read 1085 ohms. So that appears to be functioning correctly.

Boy, that would screw up the apple pie with vanilla ice cream plan big time. We gotta get this Whirlpool fixed and soon.
